BRICKLIN
by
H A Fredericks and Allan Chambers.
First edition 1977 - soft cover. 137 pages. Good condition
From the back cover:
Malcoolm Bricklin said
he would build a car to revolutionizw the North America car industry.
The New Brunswick government, anxious to attract jobs, agreed in 1973
to provide him with initial financing. Two years later, Bricklin
motored into bankruptcy with enormous losses including a debt of $ 23
million to New Brunswick. He had built 2,8880 cars.
The authors
chronicle the Bricklin project from creation to collapse, disclosing
information the New Brunswick government in Canada still considers to
be confidential. They describe the production blunders, the
management battles and the frills that contributed to Bricklin's
collapse - lots more on the
inside story of the Bricklin car.
This book will make a great addition to the shelf of the antique car
and automobile collector.
