Collection of Rural Musings by Rolf Munroe.
Prepared and illustrated by his wife Elizabeth Elizabeth Munroe. Rolf Munroe
was born in Taymouth, New Brunswick. He carried on the family business as
a general merchant in Taymouth and was also its Postmaster. The musings
were selected from the 365 published in the Gleaner [Fredericton, New Brunswick,
Canada from 1959 to 1963] Ralph died January 2, 1976.
Some chapter and poem titles are Country Grapevine, Snake Fences, Children’s
Paths, Railway Memories, The Stove Pipe Struggle, The Closed Front Room,
The Kerosene Lamp The Country Attic, The Country Cellar, Country Remedies,
The Specialist, The Migration Plan, Sleeping Elder, The Old Stone Steps,
Molasses Memories, Rural Church Picnics and many others.
90 pages. Book has a soft pictorial cover.
