Slye - Blunden Families published in 1995 by

Newcomb.
This line of the Newcomb family were from New Brunswick, Canada.
William Newcomb married Miranda (or Morinda) Hartt, daughter of James
P. and Olive Hartt. They lived at Grand Falls, Perth-Andover, the
California Settlement, and other places in Victoria County, New
Brunswick, Canada. After Miranda died, in 1903 (and was buried in the
old Methodist Cemetery at Andover) her daughter Katie took over raising
the children. Katie married Edward Muckler. Viola Newcomb married Earl
Clement. They remained in Canada. Their brothers, Edgar Elmer, John
Ellsworth, and George Leopold "Lee" Newcomb moved to Maine, in the
U.S.A, and had families there. The youngest son, Ralph G. Newcomb,
moved to the state of California. Ralph married Gladys Frances Slye,
the daughter
of Franklin Albert Slye and Grace Lancefield Blunden. Grace and her
family
had come to the US from England about 1905. Her parents, Richard
Blunden
and Elizabeth Ann Wright, both of England, settled at Sebastopol,
California.
Richard died a few months after their arrival, 24 Dec 1905. Elizabeth
Ann
ran a boarding house in Sebastopol, and was later a "foot doctor."
Grace Blunden
and Franklin Albert Slye lived in Glenn County, California, The father
of

the
same lines as Roy Rogers, American actor, who was named Leonard Slye at
