Submitting A Query
I contribute a weekly column on Family History with queries to the
Telegraph-Journal newspaper which circulates throughout New Brunswick,
Canada. The columns are on the
newspaper's website at canadaeast.com
and archived on my website at rubycusack.com.
Genealogical queries should be 45 words
or less. Postal address is for the benefit of readers
who could have important information to share with you but do not have
access to the internet. Your name and postal address will be posted
with your query in the Telegraph-Journal newspaper and on the
newspaper's websites at canadaeast.com
and archived on the website rubycusack.com.
If you
do not wish your postal address published, do not include it in your
query.
Dates should be written as date - month - year that is 21 July 1880. When e-mailing a query to me please put "Query" followed by the Surnames you are submitting. Queries may be edited before they are published. Send queries to rmcusack@nbnet.nb.ca
Sample Query:
Smith - Jones: Matilda Smith married Ralph Jones in Saint
John on (date). I am interested in finding the names of their siblings
and parents. I know that Ralph died in (date) and is buried (at).
He gave his age on the census of (year) as being (?).
